Solar Charger for Dual Marine Batteries (G047)

Fully-automatic charger for dual independent marine batteries, powered by large solar panel installation. Analogue circuit design, with EMI filtering and protection against over-voltage transients on solar panel and battery lines. Thermal protection is included. Double-sided PCB utilising TTH components. A separate board contains the smart controller circuitry, managing charge control to the two batteries.

FYI: Most marine applications have two batteries: 'Starter' and 'House', to ensure that the boat's motor can be started even if the fridge or radio ran its battery flat.
